Take a 20-minute flight to Tower Hill (Orange Walk) and a 10-minute ride through sugar cane fields that brings you to the banks of the New River. Climb aboard and enjoy a boat ride through mangroves and the swamp savannah. See monkeys, birds, bats, flora, turtles, and crocodiles as you near the New River Lagoon and Lamanai Maya site.

There, walk through the dense jungle and learn about Belizean bush medicine. Visit the Jaguar Temple, the High Temple, and the Ball court where the Maya played their famous ballgame.
