Discover SCUBA Dive

During the course, you will learn about SCUBA diving equipment and how easy breathing and moving around underwater is. You will also get to practice a few dive skills in confined water (pool-like conditions) before doing a try dive from the beach. Not to worry, a trained PADI professional will guide you and be by your side throughout the course. After the short course and try dive, you will have the option of doing a boat dive. This is done under the direct supervision of your PADI Professional and only allows you to dive at a depth of 40 feet. You can continue diving with us on other dive trips as a resort diver or use the credit from the course to get fully PADI Open Water Certified.

Refresher SCUBA Course

During the course, clients will explore problem management, important safety concepts, and dive planning essentials. The PADI professional will also have them practice setting up their gear and conduct pre-dive safety checks. They will review and practice basic SCUBA skills in confined water to renew their confidence and comfort underwater. The course takes place on our local barrier reef dives. Afterward, clients can do a shallow shore dive followed by a boat dive, accompanied by the PADI dive professional. Please fill out the Medical Questionnaire found in Discover SCUBA.

Open Water Certification

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to SCUBA dive, breathe underwater, and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. There is no better place to learn to dive than the warm turquoise waters of Belize. Our experienced PADI Dive Instructors will equip you with the skills and confidence to be a safe and competent diver.

Open Water Referral

Complete the in-water SCUBA training in the warm waters of Belize! Once at the dive shop, your instructor will give you an e-Learning Quick Review to confirm you understand the safety materials from the course. After the review, you will complete the required skills in confined water (pool-like conditions) and repeat those skills in 4 open water dives. After completing the in-water portion of the course, you will become PADI Open Water certified and be able to dive anywhere in the world.
